Tony Finch Tribute

In February of this year, the first anniversary, we look at Tony's legacy under the banner of Lynking the Worlds Together:

The bore well in Aglal, Timbuktu, Mali, was completed last June, thanks to the:

• generosity of all who knew Tony
  
• contributions from Hay on Wye, which is twinned with Timbuktu
  
• labour and hand-made artefacts provided by the Toureg people

Last October we also completed the building of a school, which is now open. The well and the school have made a big difference to the communities they serve. Both are named after Tony Finch.

As part of Lynking the Worlds Together, we also undertook a trip to Auschwitz with 200 people, including many young people from different faiths and our diverse communities. Tony's legacy will continue to make a difference to young people.
